Main Dish: Casserole

Yesterday already I had this one picked out.  You would think it might have crossed my mind.  Today when I mixed up my foods, I thought to myself, “Self, it looks like supper is more like breakfast.  If I would have assembled this c.o.o.k.book, I would have put this one in the breakfast section.”  So we got a breakfasty supper, folks!

It must have been good!

We ate almost. the. whole. thang!

6 eggs               2 C milk               2 C grated Cheddar cheese               1 lb sausage meat                                                  4 slices of bread, cubed               Salt & Pepper to taste

Fry sausage meat.  Cover bottom of a 9X13 greased pan with cubed bread.  Put meat on top of bread.  Beat eggs, (book says mustard?) and milk together and pour over meat.  cover with cheese.  Bake at 375 for 45 min.  May be put together and refrigerated prior to time of baking.

PS: Eat with picante sauce, ketchup, mustard? or pancake syrup {yes!}
