There was a wedding

Well hello Monday.

In case you haven’t hopped on my blog in a while, I’ve joined up with the Nester and the 31 Day challenge to write every day for 31 days. You can catch up on previous posts here

The 31 Day blogger of this blog absolutly missed yesterday.
She was absolutely at a wedding and absolutely had no time left in her day to throw up some words for day 12.

She was radiantly beautiful!

The wedding was beautiful; so was the sum of family present from Pennsylvania. I filled my family love tank while the taking was hot.

(my grandparents at my house for the first and I’m guessing only time. They are in their lower 80’s)

One of the most beautiful qualities of true friendship is to understand and to be understood.

Thoughts that have been swirling through my mind this past week as I’ve written mostly about listening intentionally, are how I so often get it wrong.

I love the idea of listening well and really hearing others.
I love the image of reflective or natural silence in a conversation. We Americans are all to accustom to filling the space, any lull in conversation with a nod, smile, “yeah”, or something of that nature.
Do you know what it’s like to just stand there and listen to conversation and hold your head and body still? Yeah, me neither.

Not saying it wrong to insert those fillers in talking but to be aware if you are guanine or not. You can quickly tell when others are as they listen to you.

Listen to your heart and what it’s telling you as you listen.
Are you board?
Busy thinking what to say next?
Nervous?
Strongly like it dislike their comments?

What is stirring inside you? Tap into your heart and what the Holy Spirit is birthing. You just might be surprised where he’ll lead your words next if you let Him!

That’s all for today! Gotta go intentionally spend time with my parents whilst they’re here! -XOXO
